According to the KJV Bible in Ecclesiastes 3:1 " To everything there is a season," this is true and very important to remember when learning to be a savvy shopper. I am going to teach you the best buy times for almost anything you may want or need to purchase.
Best Things To Buy In April
- Airline Tickets for Summer Travel
- You will get your best deals around the middle of April for flights during July and August.
- Tuesday is the best day of the week to buy tickets.
- Make sure it is after 4p.m.EST to give companies time to update any new deals
- If you can fly on Wednesday or Thursday you can lower your airfare cost even more.
- Cruises
- This is one of the cheapest times of the year to take a cruise.
- If you travel Mid-April through the end of May you can find some awesome discounts and deals.
- Do you need a mini vacation, book a two or three day cruise and save yourself some money.
- Looking for your graduate a gift?
- Make Mothers Day extra special this year. Present your mom with a cruise.
- Athletic Shoes
- Most people do not buy athletic shoes during the winter.
- Now that Spring has sprung, retailers in the shoe world will be bidding for your business.
- Look for coupons, online discounts and promo codes to save even more money, if you need to purchase shoes.
- Consignment Shops, Flea Markets, Junk Stores, Thrift Stores, and Yard Sales
- One man's junk is another man's treasure.
- Spring Cleaning means super finds at your local thrift stores.
- Find anything from tools to appliances.
- Is your Spring wardrobe missing a few pieces?
- Vacuum Cleaner
- Retailers do some Spring Cleaning of their own.
- Last year's vacuum models will be on clearance sale.
- Stores need the space for this years new vacuum cleaner models.
- Best Deals will be on Black Friday. ONLY BUY NOW IF NEEDED!

- Just about anything you can think of for a graduate or a bride will be on sale this month.
- Mother's Day and Father's Day Gifts will be on sale this month.
- Buy early for these occasions and save a ton of money.

- Spring Fashion
- By the end of April Spring Clothing will be around 40% off.
- Hit a few yard sales and wait for the discounts.
- It is amazing to see the money you can save by only postponing a purchase by a couple of weeks.

- Cake Mixes and Frosting
- Purchase baskets for next year and all the non-perishable basket fillers.
- First week in April you will find some cheap candy lol
